Shape-Box Press Robusto

Wrapper-Ecudoran Habano

Pre Light-Beautiful cigar, well constructed and an oily sheen to the wrapper. No soft spots or blemishes. Smell of sweet tobacco from wrapper and foot. Cold draw was loose with a sweet floral note to it.

1st Third-Mild spice and a sweetness on the pallet. Lots of smoke from the loose draw filled the air with a hint of floral. Ash was very weak on this smoke not even a 1/4 inch and fell into my lap. The burn was perfect and needed no attention.

2nd Third- Things are pretty much the same at the midway point I got spice which wasnt a strong spice at all very mild spice the sweetness was the main component. This is a creamy smoke that with fill your mouth with nice smoothness. The burn was perfect still my only complaint is the very weak ash.

Final Third- the spice has picked up and the sweetness has gone. I’m starting to pick up a leather note at the final third. This cigar even though its spicy still remains creamy. The burn has started to get wavy and I did have to touch up. The ash got a tad better not much its a nice white ash but very weak.

Conclusion- The Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary is a very good smoke. You get spice, sweetness, floral and a leather note thru out. The smoke fills the air and your pallet with a nice creamy note. A very good burning cigar but my only issue is the ash it’s very weak and doesn’t hold on for more than a 1/4 inch. I will say that this cigar for me is up there with the Decade which is my favorite Rocky smoke, so please get your hands on this cigar you will love it. Remember ENJOY.
