This was a good stick. I have smoked three of them and my only consistent problem is that I keep having a canoing issue with them. I though after the first one that maybe it was a humidity problem with that particular shop but the other two I bought from another shop entirely, the third of which I let sit in my humidor for about a month before I light it up and had the same issue (though not as severe). I have one more sitting in the humidor for a bit longer and ill see how that one treats me. That was my only real complaint with it, the flavor was good and the price I paid was only around 6.50 at each shop. As always though I enjoyed the review

Finally picked it out of the humidor after letting it rest for a couple of weeks. Pleasant cherry-like taste on the pre-light draw. After the first puff I could tell that it was going to be, for me, much better than the original La Traviata – I just didn’t “get it” but it did nothing for me. Maybe I will try the Animados as I understand that this particular size might make a difference. In any case, the La Traviata Maduro was a much more enjoyable/flavorful smoke. Thanks for the review.

I have not tried the maduro yet but I did buy 2 of them plus 2 with the Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. I did smoke one of those and it was excellent. I liked the review and the background was cool. It seemed like you cut yourself off when you were talking a few times but no big deal. Looking forward to another joint review!
