Wrapper: Cuba

Binder: Cuba

Filler: Cuba

Size: Robusto (5 x 50)

Strength: Medium

Pre Light

Today’s cigar was gifted to me from a buddy of mine on twitter ( @NoRetreatNoSurr ) It comes from the magic island we all speak of. It is a medium brown with no major veins. The cigar is spongy to the touch and is evenly filled throughout. It has a well applied triple cap and a nice sweet earthy smell of the cold aroma. The cap is easily removed and the draw is free with a sweet cold draw.

1st Third

This cigar starts out with creamy coffee with notes of wood. The burn is wavy but stays even. The ash seems to hold on for a good period of time with lots of thick smoke. They flavors are really good with just a hint of spice.

2nd Third

As the second third go by with are met with the same coffee and wood notes but are greeted by notes of chocolate and nuts which all blend very well together. The cigar is burning nice and cool and still putting of a good amount of smoke.

Final Third

As I put this cigar down I don’t want it to end. The flavors stayed the same throughout but was still somehow complex with the way they hit your palette.

Overall

This was a great cigar in my opinion. It was a nice surprise coming from a cigar that doesn’t get much recognition in the Cuban cigar market. The flavors were delicious and very prominent. If you have your chance to get your hands on these I wouldn’t hesitate.  Grab ‘em! Thank you again to Ulysses for getting these to me.

Keep em Burnin’
