I received these cigars from my good friend Ulysses a couple weeks ago and decided to give ‘em a go. The wrapper is a nice milk chocolate color with to pronounced veins. The cold draw and aroma is of sweet barnyard with a nice free flowing path. The head was covered with a nicely applied triple cap that was easily removed with a guillotine cutter.
1st Third
For having a Nicaraguan filler it’s a little surprising the lack of pepper on the initial few drags. The cigar is putting of nice amounts of white creamy smoke. The main flavors are wood and coffee with a slight creaminess to it. The ash is grey and seems to be holding strong.
2nd Third
The burn is getting kind of wavy and has needed a few touch ups. The wood flavors are still there with a slight pepper rearing its head. The flavors have been nice and prominent but the constant relighting and burn issues have become a little excessive.
Final Third
It seems that wood flavor is the focal point of this cigar with a sweetness and slight pepper coming and going. The burn issues have been around pain in the ass but I plug away.
Overall
All though the flavors were nice in this cigar I don’t think I finished one down to the final inch. They all have serious burn issues and I am not very patient. It’s a shame because I enjoyed the initial start to this cigar but it was all downhill from there.

Once again, nice review General. Sounds like a nice cigar…. if only there was a way to overcome the burn issues. I will still give it a try after I rest it in a humi w/ 60% humidity (?)

I have them at about 68% I don’t know what to do unless I dry box them for a hour or so before smoking them
