The Phantom is a limited edition cigar with a new version supposedly released every year. It has a nice chocolate colored wrapper with not many veins runny through it. It has a triple cap and smells of a sweet spice. The fragrance of the foot is of sweet tobacco. The cap slices right off and the flavors on the cold draw seem to be sweet with a slight pepper.
1st Third
As I take my first few drags the amount of smoke coming off of this stick is ridiculous but in a good way. The room aroma of the smoke is amazing. The flavors I am met with are wood with a slight pepper coming along for the ride.
2nd Third
Getting around the middle portion of the cigar I am met with earth and nuts with a sweet cream. The ash seems to hold on very well and is a nice grey color. The burn is a little wavy but not anything to complain about.
Final Third
Finishing up this cigar the flavors of the final third still had that creamy coffee flavors with nuts and pepper. I had no major burn problems and cigar seemed to be burning very slow. The aroma of the smoke that came of the cigar was very enjoyable right down to the end.
Overall
I enjoyed this cigar very much. It is a little pricier than the others in the Illusione line being a limited edition cigar but it is worth picking a few up. The flavors were enjoyable worth the little extra change out of your pocket. Sorry about the pictures it got a little dark by the time I got done smoking and the flash doesn’t work so sell on the embossed bands.
Keep em burnin’
