Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro
Size: 5 ¾ x 52
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Body: Med/Full
Pre Light
A purchased the box of the Perdomo’s at a recent event I went to and only paid approx. $90 for the box. Perdomo’s cigars have always been an affordable cigar in the bloating cigar market. The wrapper on this cigar has a sweet barnyard aroma as well as does the foot. The cigar is quite rustic and bumpy with some decent size veins running through it. With a snip of the cutter I open this puppy up to a nice easy draw with notes of chocolate.
1st Third
As I light this belicoso up I am getting a slight pepper sensation on my palette along with a sweet coffee flavor. The draw is very free and open with enormous amounts of smoke coming with every puff. The burn is a little wavy with a dark grey ash.
2nd Third
The burn here in the second third has begun to canoe a little bit and has needed a few touch ups but the flavors are still nice and rich. The flavors have remained the same with the coffee along with sweet chocolate flavors.
Final Third
Though the flavors on this cigar are nice it is not at all complex. The burn has been a real pain in the ass and continued to canoe even after touchups.
Overall
With all the problems I had smoking this cigar I still don’t mind smoking these. They do have nice flavors given the price is pretty cheap. So with that being said they are well worth keeping a few lying around for those days you want something to smoke but don’t really want to pay attention to what you are smoking.
Keep em burnin’
Griff

Griff nice review this is one of my favorite more milder smokes. Great job buddy.

Enjoyed the review Griff. I smoked one of these on my drive to Hogman21 house when I was in NY. Loved the taste, had no burn issues and for the price, went home and bought a box. I agree with Mike, great for a mild smoke.

Big fan of these myself. I also like the naturals. Can’t remember ever having one canoe with me, so I wouldn’t let that scare anyone off from picking up a few.
