Pre Light

I received these sticks from Matt over a Cigar Porn in a trade for some tasty Arby’s. First thing you notice is that this cigar is ugly as shit. It is very rustic looking and is precut for easy smoking. The draw was very easy on all the ones I smoked. As Dave from the Tiki Bar kindly pointed out to me the other day they are made by General Cigars not Tatuaje and runs around $2-3.

1st Third

Pepper is the first thing that I am met with as you light up. The burn stays nice, cool and even through the initial couple inches as I am beginning to pick up some earthy notes to go along with the pepper that has mellowed out.

2nd Third

The burn has stayed consistent so far in this 38 ring gage cigar. I am met with a sweet flavor that compliments the slight pepper and earthiness that is still present as I reach the end of the second third.

Final Third

As I reach the end of this cigar I am very pleased with the quality of these cigars for price. The flavors were nice and the draw was perfect on every one of the ones that I smoke for this review. The burn stayed perfect through out, the little ash held on tight and it filled my mouth with delicious smoke.

Overall

I would have to say that these are right up there with the Tatuaje Verocu No. 5 and Origen Originals for great cheap smokes. Sorry this review is so short but this cigar isn’t the longest smoke or most complex but the flavors were rich and to the point. All I have left to say is go get this cigar.
