262 Ideology Corona

Now this isn’t something I’m use to… obviously you’re use to me doing video reviews but don’t get me wrong I can write like a champ too… well I hope. Todays review is of the 262 Ideology Corona, this cigar is new to the market. Released “August of 2011″. (TheCigarFeed.com) Needless to say this cigar has made my top 10, this cigar was just a flat out fantastic medium bodied smoke.

Size: 5.5 x 46 Corona

Wrapper: Nicaraguan Habano Rosado

Binder: Nicaragua

Filler: Nicaragua, Mexican, Dominican

Strength: Medium

Price: $7.00

So I am going to start off by saying I do not know what I am going to be doing more of, videos or written. It will all depend on my work schedule; because, I recently got a new job at Casa De Montecristo. Which means more hours and less time for working on the fun things like making video reviews that make people scream, cry, and piss themselves in laughter. (true fact General-Griff told me it happened to him)

Construction on this cigar was almost flawless other then the foot there was nothing wrong with it and I believe the foot mostly had to do with transit which is my fault. So all around A+ for the construction.

The first half – Started out just the same as any mild-medium cigar does, PLAIN… but about a half inch in I got a great taste of citrus and oak. Then about almost to the half way point it started to get a little spicy in the retrohale but nothing overwhelming but just right. Just enough to let you know it was their.

The second half – Was fantastic, completely changing the cigar around. Almost like smoking two different cigars. The cigar became spicy not only through the retrohale but a whole palate serge. It was fantastic, it was only noticeable for a few seconds then left like it had never been there. It was nothing like a long lingering taste of a Jalapeno like you get with some cigars but just right.

I would chalk this up to being one of my top 10 cigars. I actually liked it so much I asked for it for christmas, praying and hoping santa brings me a box… Thank you for all watching damn it I mean reading my review. Damn! Charlie stole my thunder. Damn you Charlie. I think this was a very fine review. I do prefer your video’s though. I really hope you do get a box of these for Christmas because then you can turn around and sent them to me when the Hawks fall on their faces and the Sabres take it all!
