Pre Light
The Casa Miranda from Miami Cigars has a beautiful band that compliments the wrappers shade of brown. The veins are small and minimal with a sweet barnyard aroma to the cold wrapper. The cigar has sort of a rustic look with a slight oily sheen on it. The stick is well packed from head to foot and has a good in hand feel to it.
First Third
After the first kick of pepper I start to get sweet flavors to go along with rich wood. The ash is a slight grey color and holds on for well over an inch. There is plenty of smoke coming out of both the head and foot.
Second Third
The burn line on the Casa Miranda has point even so far through the first few inches. The burn has been cool and slow burning with the wood and sweetness seeming to be the main focus of the flavor profile but I am starting to pick up nuts to go along with it.
Final Third
As I reach the end of my experience with the Nestor Miranda’s newest smoke I started to pick up flavors of coffee to go along with the nuts, wood and a sweetness that I couldn’t quite but my finger on. I reached all the way down to the nub and didn’t need one relight or touch up.
Overall
This cigar was very flavorful and construction was perfect. The only beef I have with the cigar is that the price point is a little high for cigar I wouldn’t mind smoking more of. I want to thank Tad from Twitter for sending me this cigar and can’t wait to find some more of these.
Keep em burnin’
Griff

I agree with you, Griff. I had one of these a couple months ago. I thought it was good cigar, something I’d definitely seek out more of, but the price seemed a little high.

Great review, sounds like a pleasant smoke, but i”d agree at that price I might go with a familiar favorite.

Good review, Griff. As you stated, the only drawback to this cigar is the price. I’d definitely buy more if it were more affordable.
