Xikar Xi2 Review
This cutter has to be my favorite cutter, now Xikar sometimes has a bad reputation but all of the products I have from them I love. From my Axia lighter to my Xi2 cutter. Now today I am only going to be reviewing the cutter but for those of you looking for a lighter the Axia is fantastic. Off track so like I said before today I am reviewing the Xikar Xi2.
This color is one of six colors you can get with the Xi2 the other colors range from blue to green to red about 4 more. Now down to the nitty-gritty, this cutter is light in weight but also isn’t light enough that you feel like you have nothing in your hand. These blades are also hardened to a rockwell C rating and for those of you like me who don’t know what means it’s just the toughest blade you can buy. Now another plus is that this cutter will cut up to a 60 ring gauge cigar just depending on how much cap you cut off, but if you want to cut a cigar in half for some reason it will cut a 54 ring gauge cigar and smaller.
Now for my final points, If you’re looking for a dependable cutter and one that will last you through the years it’s this one. For a price point of only $39.95 It pretty much pays for itself with the life time warranty. Also just a little side note I would like to add is that it is pool and coffee proof. But those are stories for another day, but all I’m trying to get at is if you are in the market for a new cutter this is a great cutter to look into.
God bless and have a good two weeks

I don’t own a Xikar cutter or lighter, but I’ve never heard anything bad about the company or the products, and my only dealings with them involved a charity raffle and they were very generous. They stand behind the stuff they put their name on, a rare quality these days. Had I a need for a new cutter (or lighter) I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one from Xikar. Does it make a clean cut? Is there a better way to hold it? Why would you recommend this over any other cutter?

Thanx for the review Mike. I have the Xikar VX V-cutter and it is by far the best cutter I have ever owned. My other cutters are getting very sad and pissed off because I only use the V-cutter now. Keep up the good work and GO SABRES!

“pool and coffee proof” …. LOL!
I have lots of cutters, but not an Xikar. I just can’t justify the cost.

All the justification needed is the fact that with proper care the Xi2 (or any other Xikar cutter/lighter) will be the last you will need to purchase, even if you happen to drop it in a pool (or in some cases coffee). And if for some strange reason it becomes dull, nicked, or pitted Xikar will either repair or replace the cutter. And to top it off (cherry on the cake) if there is a sheath (case) available for the cutter or lighter Xikar will ship one to you after registering your cutter/lighter… Free of charge!
I personally would recommend no other cutter or lighter from any other company.

This cutter speaks for itself. 100% guaranteed for life. Bet you won’t find that with any other cutter on the market. I own three myself, and wouldn’t leave home without one in my pocket.
