Emilio Series H
Well first off let me start by letting you all know effective next week I will no longer be doing reviews on every friday, that slot will be filled by Joe and I will be moving to every other Wednesday the opposite of Youngbuck. Things have come up in my life and I need to spend more time with them for now. I do appreciate everyone understanding. Ok now that we got that out-of-the-way let’s get to the cigar in hand the Emilio Series H. This cigar gave me a surprise how much it had rich flavors. It’s not overly complex but the flavors and price point I love. So without all the details let’s get the damn show on the road.

Thanks for the review. Sounds great. I had the chance to visit Gary’s shop in DE this past week and picked up a few AF1’s and the Series H Maduro. Based on your review, I should have picked up a few of the Sumatra’s also, which I will definitely do on my next trip up there. Gary walked into the humidor while I was there and it was nice to speak with him. He’s very excited, as I am, about his upcoming releases and I’m looking forward to them. I hope you are well Mike. Take care of what you need to take care of – Family is always first.

Johng thanks buddy and Gary is a great guy. I agree family is more important and that’s why I’m stepping back to every other Wednesday now. Thanks for all the loyal support.

I hope all works out well regarding your family situation, Mike.
I’ve dug both Emilios that I’ve had so far, and am looking forward to getting the sampler I won on Stogie411. Many thanks to you and Gary for that!

Its funny you reviewed this stick I just met with Gary on Friday down in Delaware while I was makeing some work stops. I actually picked up this same stick I can’t wait to give it a try. I was also lucky enough to be gifted one of Gary’s new Projects Los Regalos that will be coming out at IPCPR. I can’t wait to try it.

Now that I’ve finally got my prize package from Gary, I have to say that the cigar in the review sure looks like the maduro wrapped version with its mottled dark brown/black appearance. The Sumatra is a much lighter and uniform medium brown. I haven’t tried the maduro yet, but I’m smoking the Sumatra right now, and it’s pretty cedary and mild with very faint sweetness and spice and no hint of chocolate. Probably best with a morning coffee for me.
