Pre Light

The 1916 has a medium brown wrapper without any large veins.  The wrapper has a sweet barnyard aroma to it.  After snipping the cap off, I am getting wood and spice off the cold draw.  The draw is open and free flowing.

1^st Third

With the initial pepper burst out of the way I am picking up a creamy flavor with a hint of wood.  The burn is a little wavy but is manageable.  The ash is pretty strong and needed to be knocked off on the side of the ash tray.

2^nd Third

The creamy and wood flavors are met here in the middle section with an earthiness.  The burn is still a little wavy but hasn’t needed any relights or touch ups.

Final Third

All the flavors have blended very well here in the final few inches.  The construction was stellar all the way down to the end.

Overall

I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar from beginning to end. I don’t get a chance to smoke many Torano cigars because my local B&M’s don’t carry them.  The flavors were well blended and the construction wasn’t excellent but also wasn’t anything major to complain about.
