CAO Concert

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Rosado
Binder: Connecticut Broadleaf
Filler: Honduras, Nicaraguan

Size: 5 ½ x 54

Pre Light

The Concert by CAO goes with a music them, from the box to the band. The band looks like a black and gold guitar pick. The wrapper is a dark brown with a small amount of oil on it.  The wrapper also has a very sweet aroma coming off it. It feels well packed from head to foot without any soft spots or too spongy. After slicing off the cap there is a free open draw with tastes of earth and spice.

1st Third

The first few pulls off the freshly lit cigar give off flavors of spice and wood. The cigar gives off tons of heavy white smoke with a dark gray ash.

2nd Third

The burn has been cool and even so far.  The flavors of spice and wood are there but are met with that earthy flavor that I was picking up on the cold draw before I lit it up.

Final Third

Another flavor has shown its face down in the final third.  Cocoa has introduced itself to the spice, wood and earth flavors I already picked up.  The burn is still cool to the touch and sharp.

Overall

I was very pleased with the flavors and construction off these cigars.  It was complex and rich with light undertones.  I’m definitely going to have to pick up a bunch more if not a whole box because it is pretty cool looking.  But that’s just me and we all know I’m a dork.

Keep em burnin’
