La Duena Belicoso
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaraguan, Connecticut Broadleaf
Filler: Nicaraguan, Connecticut Broadleaf
Size: 4 3/4 x 48 Petit Belicoso
From the very start I knew this was going to be fantastic. The wrapper was just to die for, I don’t know but just something about that wrapper just tasted so good. After my mouthgasim I decided to light it. The first couple of puffs I got a whole bunch of coffee and woody notes with a suddle spice. This stayed pretty much the same through the first third.
Now with the second third it really didn’t change. Other than the fact that the spice dropped completely and the coffee became richer nothing really changed. Still just a very good draw with a fantastic burn.
Now with the final third nothing really changed, the woody notes became more predominate but nothing extreme. Like the rest of the cigar the draw was perfect not a single thing wrong that I could complain about and as you all know my standards are pretty high.
This cigar I would have no problem buying a box. I absolutely loved it. There must be something about that Pepin family, I cant find a single stick they make that I don’t like. I take that back but any who I really enjoyed this stick and for around $8 its priced pretty well. Have a great Thanksgiving and like always God bless.

I’m going to have to find some of these (or the petit lancero) . Thanks for the review, and be well and have a great T-Day – that goes for the rest of the Mike’s Stogies crew, too!

Agreed. The Belicoso #2 stood out for me but all sizes are enjoyable. Thanks for the review. Happy Thanksgiving.
