J D Howard Reserve

Today I am reviewing the latest cigar from The Crowned Heads it’s the J D Howard Reserve. This cigar was named after the outlaw Jesse James alias he used while living in Tennessee. We are reviewing the HR50 (5 1/2×50). Price point is $9.30 a stick. Wrapper is Brazilian Arapiraca and binder is Ecuadorian Sumatra. It has a Nicaraguan filler. The 711 on the band refers to the address that Jesse James lived at in Nashville. The 337 represents the Project 337 that Jon Huber was tweeting about. So without further ado let’s get this review rolling.

  1. Great to see another review up, Mike. As you know, I preferred the Four Kicks over the Headley – go figure, huh? – but this one sounds great. I look forward to giving it a try.

  2. First did you say a Dry nut taste in the back of your mouth? WTF!! Dude you know I have no problem saying I’m a CH Fan boy I think their stuff is top notch and just keep getting better. I can’t wait to get my hands on these and give them a try. Both Jon and Mike are stand up guys and adding Wes to the team can only make them better. Hope all is well man thanks for the new Review!! Great job
